He is extremely passionate about sustainability and innovation through architecture, especially after spending a summer working on the major European climate change pilot programme ‘Positive City Exchange’, in its first stages of development in Limerick.

Fionn has a love for heritage and conservation, which stemmed from his dissertation on the relationship between monuments and the intangible memories or ideas they are made to represent. This theme followed through to his final thesis, where he used the existing historic fabric of medieval Galway City, as well as its cultural / societal ‘memory’ to stitch together and create new spaces, and a new pedestrianised city. 

This passion has found its place at Pritchard Architecture where Fionn has already had the chance to work on museums, forts, barracks, and a Scheduled Ancient Monument in Newhaven; gaining invaluable experience in the world of conservation architecture as he works toward his part 3 qualifications.
