Based in Portsmouth, Ryan Stock is a talented Senior Architect who leads a number of significant projects for the practice.
A passionate alumnus of Portsmouth School of Architecture, Ryan joined Pritchard Architecture in 2021 after gaining experience at several conservation-led practices in the south of England. Throughout his career in architecture, he has developed a keen interest in traditional building practices, having worked on a range of heritage projects at prestigious sites such as the Tower of London and Hampton Court Palace.
Ryan holds a strong fascination with the intersection of heritage and sustainability. He is committed to working towards a sustainable future by conserving, modernising, and breathing new life into heritage assets and the communities that interact with them.
Ryan places great importance on fostering robust collaborations with clients, striving to deeply understand their objectives and optimise the possibilities inherent in each unique location. He derives pleasure from the creative journey of conceptualising and articulating designs to clients, pushing the boundaries of their perceptions regarding form and function.
With a special interest in the conservation of ecclesiastical structures, Ryan sits on Portsmouth Cathedral’s Faculty Advisory Committee, providing his insights and expertise to help guide decisions that will shape the Cathedral's future trajectory.
